Candle care

  1. First burn. Let the melt pool reach the edge of the jar, about 2–3 hours. It keeps the candle from tunneling later.
  2. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch every time before lighting.
  3. Burn 4 hours max. Keep an eye on it while it's lit, keep it away from anything flammable, and out of reach of kids and pets.
  4. When 1/2 inch of wax is left, it's time to retire it and grab a new one.

Wax melt care

  1. Use only in tea-light warmers or UL-listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Read the instructions that came with your warmer before you start.
  2. Add one or two cubes to the dish. No water, and never melt on a stovetop or in any appliance that isn't made for wax melts.
  3. Stay nearby. Don't leave a warmer unattended while it's on, and keep it away from anything flammable.
  4. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  5. Swap the wax once the scent fades, or when there's less than 1/2 inch of wax left in the dish.
